” We were walking on a path in the heart of a forest. My mother, brother, sisters and two cousins followed me as I led the way. Many exotic flowers with strange, almost alien designs were on our left and on our right as we walked on this path. The youngest of my sisters went by my side and then ran in front of us. Suddenly, she fell in a puddle of mud. The puddle then turned blue and changed to clear water. Yet, it was too blue to be true. The water itself seemed to be alive. It was about 5 feet in circumference. It seemed like this “pond” was a perfect circle. Its waves were not normal - the waves were wild and alive. My sister was trying to go out of it, but it was clear that the water was trying to suck her into some sort of tube I could not see… I just knew it. I grabbed my sister’s hand and I got her out of there. As I saved her, I realized that this water had been troubling me in many dreams already. I thought ” This is a dream “. I looked at my family and they seemed puzzled.

“This is a dream. I just turned it into a lucid dream!” I said.

They did not seem convinced. “

Dream #42 – Immortal

April 28, 2012

I stand in front of a house during nighttime. It resembles 18th century American homes. There is a tall, large being on the balcony. It is not human, but I can’t see it very clearly because of the darkness. I reckon it’s my enemy. I try to enter the house by opening the front door, but it is locked. I find a small opening that leads to the basement and I crawl through it. There is water on the floor. Bricks and wooden panels are left on the ground, as if the house was abandoned while being renovated. The basement is made out of large and long hallways.

I manage to see in the darkness that there are women hovering over the water. They are malevolent ghosts. They all have black hair and white gowns. Their gowns are torn and dirty. They are rotating, ever floating over the same spot, searching for intruders. If they rotate towards me and if they see me, they will attack. I go behind one of them. I try not to be seen. It works. But on the last hallway that leads to the upper floor, there are 3 of these women. I am able to avoid being spotted by the first two, but the last one gazes into my eyes and it attacks. I push her away, but she is very fast. She is screaming, she bites and scratches, like a wild animal. I manage to get a hold of her head and I smash it on the wall, but she cannot be killed. She is recovering. I must escape.

The rest of the house is empty. There are no ghosts. Only old furniture, silk, webs and dust. I go to the second floor. I see the creature I saw at first. It is evil. It reigns over this house. I know it is a demon. It has a large, yet muscular, greenish and grey body. It has a very large head, with large, protruding eyes. It has bat wings on both sides of its head. It has no mouth, only tentacles. It attacks me, but I am strong, for now I know I am in a dream. I punch it, but its chest is made out of some sort of mud. This creature seems to be the product of decay and decomposition. Every single time I punch it, it is weakened, but I feel like it cannot die. I feel like it is dead already, but yet it stands in my way and is fighting me.

I keep attacking and it tries to attack but I am too strong. I push it at the edge of the balcony. It then begins to transform. Its shape is stronger, bolder. It looks like a very tall human now. It looks at me and smiles. Dragon wings grow behind its back. It flies away. Even though I won the fight, I felt like I had been… Used. This creature clearly wanted me to attack it… But why? “

Dream #32 – Languages

February 13, 2010

” In my last dream, I met once again alien beings. They were small and looked like little children. Their skin was very similar to olives and they had large, curious eyes. I was not scared because it was obvious to me that these beings were stricly focused on learning and discovering. They led me inside a small artificial cave with many plants. There was a lot of moss on the ground, walls and ceiling. I saw many grey stones with glowing blue symbols. A deep purple light was illuminating the cave, but I couldn’t find its origin. One of the aliens showed me a particular stone on the left. The symbol was a planet with multiple halos around it. I touched it and some sort of knowledge was immediately transmitted to me. This stone was about languages and communication. I understood that all the stones in this cave held knowledge on different subjects: astronomy, medicine, nature preservation, etc…

Something happened, however. I sensed a malevolent spirit around us. It took control over me, commanded my body to act aggressively, and the alien beings were very scared and ran away from me. I was very angry at this spirit and I fought with it, travelling from one dream world to another. After a brutal fight, I ended in nothingness. My body was floating in a black world. It was an empty world. I felt reassured, but I also felt that this evil spirit was still out there and that it would attack me again in further dreams. “

Dream #28 – King of Bears

January 27, 2010

” I had one more dream about bears. I was at our camp with my grandfather and his brother. We heard noises, so I went outside. A gigantic grizzly bear came out of nowhere and attacked me. I was very scared once again. I was quick enough to move away from it and I went back inside the camp. I closed and locked both doors. The bear charged the doors and I thought it would be able to enter the camp. My grandfather and uncle came running towards the door and we all scared the bear away. It ran back but remained in front of us, looking at us. My uncle went for his rifle. I wasn’t scared anymore at that point, but I didn’t feel at ease with this situation. Killing the bear was out of the question for me for I knew at this point that it was yet another bear in my dreams. It seemed very important that this bear should remain alive and well. I told my uncle not to aim his rifle towards the bear. He shot next to it and it ran away as the bullets hit the ground. “

Dream #25 – Fantasy world

January 19, 2010

” I remember this dream very well. It was vivid. I was aware that I was dreaming and once again I decided not to use my lucid dream powers. I was in a forest, but this forest had trees and plants I had never seen in my life. The flora and fauna was exotic and different from everything we know on Earth. It was nighttime and I was with my sister. I told her ” This is it. This is the land I imagined as my own paradise. I created this many years ago in a dream and there it is. Everything has flourished and everything finally came to life. This is where I will come when I will die. Remember this, shall you ever need to see me, this is where I will be once I am no more. ”.

There were blue mushrooms on the ground. The mushrooms were lighting the area with a calming azure glow. I took one of them. With this light in my hand, I guided my sister out of the forest and onto a road. I figured out that my dream world had evolved more than I had previously thought. Suddenly, there were black, dark ghosts on horses who came towards us. I could have used my powers, but I decided to hide my identity as a creator and I ran from them as they chased us. I lost sight of my sister at this point. As the black riders were in my back, I saw other riders in front of me. I soon understood that I was in the middle of some war and that both of these beings were fighting each other. The black riders produced flames and shadows. The other riders were similar to humans. They had many jewels on their clothes and armors and even the horses bore jewels.

As the two armies engaged in a battle, I stood as a bystander. I was neutral and didn’t help neither side. After a while, I grew weary and I decided to walk to a river. I found somebody there. He seemed to be very important. He wore a crown, as if he was a king. I stood besides him. He feared the black riders and he didn’t like that he had to fight them. I could see in his face that he wanted the best for this land. I walked in the river and took a rock within the water. I gave it to him as the rock turned into a precious, red stone, similar to a ruby. I woke up. “

Some months ago, our patient had a dream in which he was in a strange fun fair, a dark carnival. There were monsters in cages, giants and floating lights in display cases. In his last dream, the patient revisited this world, this time accompanied by his family members.

” I went there in a car. We parked in a dark place and we were alone. The moon was full in the sky. The trees surrounding our car were darker than the night and I could only see their silhouettes. We went to the lights on top of the mountain and I quickly acknowledged that I had been there before and that this was a dream. Instead of using the usual powers I have when I unlock lucid dreaming, I decided to bring my family to this place and show them what I had seen in my previous dream. There was a restaurant. My grandfather and my mother went there and ate some exotic food. I brought my little brother with me so he could follow the same path as I did in my dream. I showed him the monsters. The monsters were all different from one to another. One was hairy while another didn’t have hair at all. Some monsters looked like apes while others would be reptilian. Some of them were aggressive while others were passive. I left my brother with my sisters as they kept on looking at the monsters in the cages. I went for a place where I had been at the end of my previous dream. It was a forge of some sort. Everything was black and vivid red. The heat would come from fire and steam. It was a huge machine designed for something, but I couldn’t figure it out. I entered it and met two men who were working very hard. Both of them had dirt all over their faces and clothes. I spoke to one of them.

” I have been here before, I met you, but I woke up right afterwards “

” Yes, I remember you! “

” Are you aware that this is a dream? “

” Yes, I am. This is where I live. “

” What is behind this machine? I can see a door right there “

I pointed out a very small door, very similar to submarine doors.

” You can’t go there, even I can’t go there. It’s locked forever. Only our boss can go there. “

” Who is your boss? “

” Oh! You know him. He’s the Devil. “

For some reason, I didn’t feel fear at all. The man didn’t look like a demon, just a hard-working guy doing his job.

” Thanks for the information, friend, I must go now. “

” Good luck, friend! “

” Thank you, friend! “

And I woke up.

Dream #8 – Battles

September 19, 2009

The patient recalls leaving home and encountering three tall men on the streets. The men started harassing him verbally, and then they engaged in a fight. The patient was outnumbered and, although he put up quite a fight, was slowly losing the battle. As he was losing the fight, he remembered that he was dreaming and unlocked a lucid state of dreaming. He concentrated on himself and his energy and through a scream of anger, he became very strong. His muscles grew in size and a bright, red fire surrounded him. He then managed to destroy his enemies in a single blow. The patient then recalls wandering through this dream in search for a peaceful and quiet place, but he woke up soon afterwards.

The patient, however, went back to sleep and had another dream which resembles a nightmare. He remembers being some sort of ghost hunter. He was in a haunted house and suddenly a ghost appeared through the wall and fought him. The patient remembers falling in some sort of ghost world as physical contact was made and he managed to kill the ghost by drowning him in a lake. The patient then remembers finding himself in his hometown, walking on the streets. He recalls meeting a group of boys and one of them accidentally hit him will he was passing. The young boy argued that the patient should have moved out of the way. The patient said ” I was there first, you had to move. “. The young boy explained that his candies, that had now fallen on the ground, couldn’t be eaten anymore and the patient decided to buy him new candy to close the argument. The patient, however, had no money in his pockets. A strong feeling of helplessness came to birth within the patient who subsequently woke up soon afterwards.
