Dream #38 – Hiding from the enemy

February 22, 2010

The patient had yet another dream about a futuristic war. The recurrent themes of war, bears and demons seem to be almost omnipresent in the recent dreams of our patient. These elements appear to be haunting him as he is trying to understand their meaning.

” I remember being in a house with many civilians. I was the only soldier around besides a couple of men. I was in a hospital, but it was in a very poor state. We were in a desert area. The hospital’s windows were broken and the doors had been removed. It appears the hospital had been subject to a military siege. I spoke to the civilians, warning them that the enemy would soon take over our remaining defenses. Everybody hid where they could while I was looking through a window. A heavy sand storm was occurring and I could barely see anything. Suddenly, I saw about 10 armed men. They all wore torn clothes but I could clearly see that they all wore white and brown. Many of them had black skin although some of them were caucasian. They spoke an unknown language. I didn’t want them to notice us, so I hid like the remaining people. “
