Dream #35 – Spirit temple
February 17, 2010
” I was alone in a forest. It was nighttime once again. The trees were tall and dark. A very thick, murky fog was everywhere. I could barely see the ground. I walked in this forest for a while until I found what appeared to be a very ancient temple built eons ago. Deep green grass covered most of it, but I could see a Babylonian and Mesopotamian design to it. My attention was drawn towards my left side and I saw many white spirits floating. I would describe them as elongated, blurry diamonds hovering. They spoke to me in unison and said that I could free them if I would build a monument in their honor. At this very moment, my mother came to me and I explained her that I had to enter the temple in order to learn more about these spirits. She stayed outside while I ventured inside.
The temple was in a poor state and what remained of it gave me the impression that it was a not a temple but a mausoleum. I could see many human skulls engraved in both stone and gold. I went to the second floor and saw a moving, repulsing force of darkness. It’s very hard to describe it. I could see stone pillars orbiting around it. What was in the center was a grey mass of clouds and smoke. The being saw me and came towards me. It pushed me back with a violent wind and returned to its initial position only to strike again. Every time it would attack, I could see an evil being’s face through the cloud, blowing the wind against me. I ultimately fell on the ground and when I stood back up, the being was nowhere to be seen.
I kept on advancing in this temple. There were many pillars, all in a rectangular shape. I discovered a very large room full of instruments made of stone, metal and wood. I couldn’t understand their utility. I saw a pillar with some sort of machine attached to its base. The machine would spit paper and swallow it back at great speeds. I took one paper and all I could see was the face of a very old woman and some writings I couldn’t read. I put the paper back into the machine and went for a corridor. Just before entering the corridor, I saw two plaques on the wall: One jade green, the other ruby red. Both plaques were on a canvas made of pure gold. I entered the corridor and found a man who introduced himself as being an ” occult scientist “. I saw that behind him there was some sort of devilish being, a red dog with a human face, more precisely a woman’s face. It was in a cage and it was obvious to me that the occult scientist was studying it. The dog spoke evil to me and acted very aggressively, striking its own cage, trying to escape, but I didn’t fear it. The scientist didn’t fear it either. He introduced me to his daughter. I told them about the cloud and smoke being and they told me it was a very powerful being. They didn’t know if it was a god or a being sent by a god, but they knew he was the guardian of the dead. “

A dream with mystical qualities. I often wonder how we can inhabit these spaces and then recall them in such detail.
